i just spent 3 hours defrosting my credit card to buy a pair of wedge booties that ill never wear. oh the cost of being a fashionista. i really couldnt help it. anything black, chunky, studded, buckled, suede, over the top yet understated, i have to have. so ill be the one 4 months behind rent, storing clothes in my oven that i never use, to make space for a massive and useless shoe collection. oh designer shoe fetish, you'll be the death of me.
also, Girl in a Coma- definently my band of the moment. theyre raw and edgy and the soft vocals float over rock and deconstructed beats. its to DIE for, trust me. hit it up in Pandora and listen along side Yeah Yeah Yeahs (always a good one) and Magenta Lane, another great one. and of course, something Alison Mosshart-ish will find you too. another bad ass chick id go gay for. im thinking of getting some Patti Smith-esque bangs inspired by Alison. rock and roll, saucy, edgy, and femme. love it.
also, im always a fan of the cat-eye liner, but im digging the softer brown/golded smoky eye. it keeps you from looking like youre trying too hard, while still giving off the obvious sex appeal of the bedroom eyes.
im about to go out and catch up with the rest of the world, getting seasons of Weeds and The Tudors. i watched a bootleg episode of tudors last night and DIED. im obsessed with the love and scandal in that time period. The Other Bolelyn Girl, Tristan and Isolde, this shit is my weakness.
